2021 Atar results

• 71% achieved an ATAR above 90

• 46% achieved an ATAR above 95

• 20.5% achieved an ATAR above 98

• 8.5% achieved an ATAR above 99

These ATAR results show St Aidan’s continues to be one of the top performing independent schools in Queensland with a median ATAR of 94.90 and 95% of students ATAR eligible.

Data Consent

Australian Tertiary Admission Ranks (ATAR) are calculated and released by the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC). The decision for students to share their ATAR result with their schools is optional and St Aidan’s only has access to the individual ATARs of our Year 12 students where consent has been granted by those students when registering in the ATAR Portal. The St Aidan’s class of 2021 was a cohort of 87 students, 83 were ATAR eligible and 80 consented to their results being shared with the school.

QCAA Subject Results

• 100% of Year 12 students received a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)

• 100% of Year 12 students achieved grades of A to C for their outcomes

• 100% of subjects had a median result of A or B

• Two students achieved subject results of 100% in Mathematics Methods and Visual Art.

Our 2021 Year 12 students are to be congratulated on their remarkable achievement. Their results reflect the hard work and dedication of the 2021 cohort and the quality and professionalism of the teaching staff and educational experience offered at St Aidan’s. It is important to recognise these results are only one indicator of dedication, hard work and excellence.

2020 ATAR Results

• 12.5% achieved an ATAR above 99

• 20% achieved an ATAR above 98

• 36.5% achieved an ATAR above 95

• 69% achieved an ATAR above 90

NB: 97% of St Aidan’s senior cohort was ATAR eligible.

Our 2020 Year 12 students are to be congratulated on their outstanding subject results. The ATAR results show St Aidan’s continues to be one of the top performing independent schools in Queensland with a median ATAR of 92.90. We are also proud to share:

• 100% of Year 12 students achieved grades of A to C for their outcomes

• 74% of subjects with enrolments greater than 5 students had a median result of an A

• 100% of subjects had a median result of A or B

• 3 students achieved perfect subject scores of 100%.

OVERALL POSITION (OP) Results 2019

Please note that the figures we publish include both our domestic and visa students, whereas the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority will publish only domestic data.

While we recognise our students who achieved strong OP scores, it is important to note these scores are only one indicator of dedication, hard work and excellence.

• 100% of students attained their Queensland Certificate of Education or Queensland Certificate

• All OP ineligible students (14% of the senior cohort) completed Diploma or Certificate III courses while at school.

Queensland Core Skills Test Results

I also congratulate our 2019 graduates on their outstanding performance on the Queensland Core Skills Test. 43% of OP-eligible students were awarded an A, in comparison with 17% across the state.

QUEENSLAND CORE SKILLS TEST RESULTS (2018)

St Aidan's graduates have also achieved outstanding results in this year's Queensland Core Skills Test with 76% achieving an A or B on the test.
