Welcome from Toni Riordan
Welcome to our website. I hope it reflects our values culture and the nurturing environment of St Aidan’s. We share the vision to grow our students to fulfil their academic potential and to nurture them to be authentic, confident and connected citizens, ready to engage with the global and ever-changing future.
The size of our school enables us to know girls well and for them to feel that they are valued and able to develop strong networks and connections within our community. Our students from Kindergarten to Year 12 have the opportunity to study challenging and rigorous academic programs in a vibrant community of learning. Excellence in teaching, with an emphasis on student leadership and wellbeing supports every learner at St Aidan’s to aspire to achieve their personal best.
Established over 90 years ago, St Aidan’s holds dear our founders’ philosophy of education: “To nurture the individual within a caring community so that each will realise his or her full potential, to engender Christian values, encourage high academic standards and service to others so that all will have not only one goal, but also the inner strength “to love one another as I have loved you (John 13.34).” At St Aidan’s we aim to inspire girls to make a difference - to be game changers.
I invite you to experience firsthand the warmth and character of our school and encourage you to arrange a tour with our Registrar.
I look forward to welcoming you into the St Aidan’s family.
