St Aidan's is proud to offer scholarships to students with outstanding ability.
Scholarships are awarded for the duration of a student's education at St Aidan's and are reviewed at the end of each year. Scholarships provide part remission of tuition fees. Scholarships are offered in three categories for entry in 2020.
Applications for scholarships for entry in 2021 will open on 3 September 2019.
No results are received by the school until after 25 March 2020. Offers of scholarship or results will not be disclosed to families prior to 25 March 2020.
To be considered for an Academic Scholarship, you must complete the ACER examination that will be held on Saturday 29 February 2020.
These are available for students entering Year 7 - 10 in 2021. Scholarships may be offered to students who exhibit qualities compatible with the aims and ethos of St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School, on the basis of the ACER (Australian Council for Educational Research) Scholarship Examination results, previous academic record, and an interview with the Principal.
Mathematics and Science Scholarships
Mathematics and Science Scholarships are available for students commencing at St Aidan's in Years 7 - 10. These Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate strength in the areas of Mathematics and/or Science.
General Excellence Scholarships
Available for students entering St Aidan's in Years 7 - 10. These Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate strength in academic studies, as well as potential excellence in Visual/Performing Arts and/or Sport. All scholarships are offered for the duration of a student's education at St Aidan's and are reviewed at each semester reporting period.
For Academic Scholarships, applicants are required to sit the ACER exam. ACER Applications are now open for 2021 enrolment. Click here to apply.
For Mathematics and Science and General Excellence Scholarships, applicants are required to complete the Scholarship Application Form (PDF 96.2KB) and also provide the following documents:
A copy of the student's most recent school reports,
A copy of the student's birth certificate,
A copy of most recent NAPLAN results; and
A portfolio outlining the student's interests and achievements in Mathematics/Science/Visual Art/Performing Arts and/or Sport.
Students who have lodged a Mathematics and Science or General Excellence application may also sit the ACER exam at St Aidan's.

Scholarships are open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents only – for those born overseas proof of residency is required.
Most scholarships are offered at no more than 25%. This discount is for tuition only and does not cover uniforms, text books, stationery, extracurricular activities, camps etc. Please click here to view our fee schedule.
Scholarships are reviewed annually by the Principal and may not be automatically renewed if the conditions of the scholarship are not met, e.g. poor school attendance or non-participation in an activity.
Students do not need to be enrolled at St Aidan’s at the time of application. If you are offered and accept a scholarship you will need to complete the Enrolment Application form and pay an $800 non-refundable application and acceptance fee to hold your place.
Academic Scholarships (ACER) are open to all students including current St Aidan’s students.
General Excellence, Maths and Science scholarships are open to new students only (not currently attending St Aidan’s).
Late applications or amendments to applications will not be accepted – applications close Monday 10 February 2020 for all Scholarships.
