St Aidan's is proud to offer scholarships to students with outstanding ability. 

Scholarships are awarded for the duration of a student's education at St Aidan's and are reviewed at the end of each year. Scholarships provide part remission of tuition fees. Scholarships are offered in three categories for entry in 2020.

Applications for scholarships for entry in 2020 will open on 1 November 2018. 

No results are received by the school until after 25 March 2019. Offers of scholarship or results will not be disclosed to families prior to 25 March 2019.

Academic Scholarships

These are available for students entering Years 7 and 9 - 11. Scholarships may be offered to students who exhibit qualities compatible with the aims and ethos of St Aidan's Anglican Girls' School, on the basis of the ACER (Australian Council for Educational Research) Scholarship Examination results, previous academic record, and an interview with the Principal. 

Mathematics and Science Scholarships

These are available for students commencing at St Aidan's in Years 7 - 11. These Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate strength in the areas of Mathematics and/or Science.

General Excellence Scholarships

Available for students entering St Aidan's in Years 7 - 11. These Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate strength in academic studies, as well as potential excellence in Visual/Performing Arts and/or Sport. All scholarships are offered for the duration of a student's education at St Aidan's and are reviewed at each semester reporting period. 

To apply:

For Academic Scholarships, applicants are required to sit the ACER exam. Applications will open in November 2018 for 2020 enrolment. 

For Mathematics and Science and General Excellence Scholarships, applicants are required to complete the Scholarship Application Form and also provide the following documents: 

  • A copy of the student's most recent school reports,

  • A copy of the student's birth certificate,

  • A copy of most recent NAPLAN results; and 

  • A portfolio outlining the student's interests and achievements in Mathematics/Science/Visual Art/Performing Arts and/or Sport. 

Students who have lodged a Mathematics and Science or General Excellence application may also sit the ACER exam at St Aidan's.
