St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School Year 12 students have received strong academic results yet again with the release of this year’s Overall Positions for the 2018 Senior cohort. This year’s results saw:
These consistently excellent outcomes (an average of 43% OP 1-5 and 98% OP 1-15 for the last five years) point to the high-quality education St Aidan’s AGS delivers year after year.
Our 2018 Year 12 students are to be congratulated on their outstanding academic achievement. The OP results show St Aidan’s continues to be one of the top performing independent schools in Queensland with more than 1 in 2 OP eligible students achieving an OP 1-6.

These results reflect the hard work and dedication of the 2018 cohort and the quality and professionalism of the teaching staff and educational experience offered at St Aidan’s.
While we recognise our students, who achieved such strong OP scores; it is important to note these scores are only one indicator of dedication, hard work and excellence. All graduating students at St Aidan’s attained their Queensland Certificate of Education, and all OP ineligible students completed Diploma or Certificate III courses while at school.
Queensland Core Skills Test Results (2018)
I also congratulate the 2018 graduates on their performance on the Queensland Core Skills Test. 76% of OP-eligible students were awarded an A or B (in comparison with 46% for the State).
