Over the past 12 weeks, the resilience, compassion and spirit of the St Aidan’s community have provided strength to students, staff and the wider St Aidan’s family during an unprecedented world event.
On 18 June, we will be celebrating our unwavering community spirit, with the launch of the Born to Fly Bursary on our first ever Giving Day.
As you know, many members of our community and the wider community have been affected by the Coronavirus global pandemic. Our goal is to ensure that each and every child has the greatest opportunity to reach her aspirations in a nurturing environment.
The Born to Fly Giving Day will support St Aidan’s students experiencing financial hardship now and into the future. Funds will assist with emergency school fee relief, purchase of essential materials for school, or perhaps emergency accommodation costs and/or assistance with costs to represent the school in sport and extra-curricular competition. It starts in the present for students in genuine hardship as a result of COVID-19 and will hopefully grow to assist future students in need, for many years to come.
This year, our goal is to raise funds, to support current St Aidan’s students experiencing financial hardship and to build the legacy of the Born to Fly Bursary, borne from our community coming together in COVID-19 times.
We are asking our families and friends of the school who can, to consider donating. No amount is too small and all donations over $2 are tax deductible. Every donation will go a long way to supporting St Aidan’s girls to continue their education.
Thank you for your continued support
