From the Principal
Ms Toni Riordan
Over the past 50 years, Australia has openly
welcomed millions of students from all over
the world and St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School
has successfully educated many international
students over these years. Our very strong team
of educational leaders, teachers and support
staff create a safe and nurturing environment
for the young people at St Aidan’s. Our students
have the opportunity to study more than 30
subjects and to participate in a diverse range of
sports, service and cultural pursuits. Each year,
our students eclipse state and national literacy,
numeracy and school leaver outcomes.
For over 90 years St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’
School has enjoyed a rich history of consistent
academic and extra-curricular success. The
Sisters of the Society of the Sacred Advent
founded St Aidan’s with a commitment to
nurturing and teaching young women. Today
our mission is much the same – we promote
and empower our students through education
and opportunity. We do this by providing
them support, excellent female role models,
confidence to flourish and a belief that they can
achieve anything.
We aspire to educate girls who are authentic,
caring, confident, creative and connected.
These five values are embedded in the
academic study, leadership, personal growth
and spiritual development of each student and
are incorporated into every aspect of school life.
These cornerstones provide inspiration and give
students a solid foundation from which to pursue
their dreams.
We embrace international schooling as it
contributes positively to our learning community,
to individual scholarly life and it helps grow
shared understandings and new perspectives
about the world in which we all live, work
and learn.
We look forward to helping your daughter
settle in at St Aidan’s.
